Editor of The Hindu Sports met Mas .S.Wakeesan, National Bronze Meddlist for can exclusive interview of his residence recently. Mas Vakeesan spoke open heartedly to US.
Editor: Vakees, you have won a national medal after 32 years from our college. Have you expect this victory? How you feel about this?
Vakees an: Definitely. I was very sure about my victory. I am glad to obtain a medal at the notional level. But I am little bit disappointed, not to get a higher medal. I will try my level best to claim a gold medal next year. Presently my first aim is to get a medal at the Korean meet and hoist our college flag higher.

Vakees: Of course. Our play ground is not a level one. It should be leveled first. For the athletes of throw events, their body stamind is important. We need at least a small gymnasium for our college. At this point I want to say one thing; in the absence of Gym, Ramanan Anna gave his own apparatuses to practice. Our old boys, School Development society and well wishers
should think cabout this cand
take necessary actions
to fulfill this essentic needs.
Editor: Now your are the winner. What you want to say
your younger brothers of JHC2
Vakees: Sports.... Not only victory. We should see the victory and the defeat as same. Change the defeat as victory. If you draw a small round around you and always inside that small round won't make any changes or improvements in your attitude. Please come out of the ring cand see the becautiful World. When you participate at Provincial, National or international programmes you can come across new bonds and friends. Good sportsman will share his knowledge with youngsters and train them towards success. This is what le carnt from Ramoncan Anna.
