It is very significant that the year 1969 which is an epoch making year, marks the end of a hundred years of state education in Ceylon and at the same time the dawn of a new era in space flight. Man's two successful landings on the moon “a great leap for mankind' has won the first place. But we in Ceylon are justly proud of our hundred years of state education though it is less spectacular than space conquest.
Since gaining independence two decades ago a determined effort was made to prune the educational system of the country and rid the unwanted legacies of the colonial era. To this end our educational system had to be given vigour vitability and dynamisim which would be in accord with the hopes and ideals of a
growing nation and at the same
time serve the socio-economic needs of the country.
The system of free education stands as the corner stone in the fabric of our educational system. The introduction of Swabasha as the medium of instruction has brought education within the reach of everyone.

Our educational system should weave within its fabric the reality of moral and spiritual values. It should not end in the mere parting of religious knowledge in the classroom alone but should be brought out in the playground, the laboratory and in every actis vity the school provides.
Our youth must be taught that life and progress depends upon these unchangeable values. which have come down to us from moralists like Socrates, Plato Aristoble and the great religious leaders of all times, the latest of them was the great Mahatma Ghandi the apostle of “Ahimsa' whose birth centenary coincides, with our Siyawasa celebration. May the youth of this country and of the world emulate this puny giant of non violence of the twentieth century. ''Let us look forward for peace and prosperity among all nations and all mankind.

PRINCIPALoS
It is with regret I write this report because the Torch Bearer had not made its appearance for some time. This has happened because of various difficulties and we do hope the Torch Bearer will make its appearance regularly in future.
We started the second quarter of the second century well. Our classes have grown in size, in number and I think in quality too. There is a seriousness of purpose, though all do not attain the goal they desire. Our alumni also has grown and We are seeing the rewards of all the struggle we have had in starting and maintaining our G. C. E. (A.L.) classes. Our results have been good and we have attracted very many good students. In every field our girls have done well. During this period at least seven of our girls have had their “Arangetam.' in Bharatha Natayam and in Carnatic Music. We see Our students in all types of positions in Ceylonfrom the administrative service to humble but important housewives and mothers. We see them in posts all over the world-as Montessori teachers and Physical educators in America, as nurses and doctors in England, as teachers of English in Europe, as teachers in Africa, and as translators and radio artistes

Our numbers have grown and ow we are over 2000, we hope wever by dint of careful admison to bring the numbers down. s such we have had a very changg staff and it is not possible in this port for me to mention all those ho joined us and all those who left . Mention however must be ade of the retirement of Miss H. R. homas, who served the school Om 1937 as a teacher and as Vice incipal. Miss Thomas has given voted and selfless service to the hool. We Wish to record Our attitude for ber loyalty to the hOOl.
The school was re-organised to two in 1968 with Miss G. T. adivelu as Principal of the anishta, School. I do feel that adually the Kanishta, School will ve to be moved Out into entiy separate premises. The devepement of both sections are being indered, by keeping them together. feel that the only solution is the Government to establish really good Kanishta, School

Activities in the school ha increased. We obtain second place in the all Isla Tamil Drama competition and fil place in the English Drama, co petition organised in Jaffna.
The School band Came into bei: during this period, We did extrem ly well by winning the fil place in the First All Island Bal Competition to be held in Colomb Our band is in great dema locally and in Colombo. We rep. sented Jaffna at the opening the Junior Universities at Kuli pitya, and at the Siyawasa cel berations held in Colombo. W believe in giving our students much scope as possible and eve: year we have a talent picki campaign, thinking of various was in which we can develop a give our girls as broad an ed cation as possible.

The Siyawasa year is over and we have actively participated in the Siyawasa, celebrations both in Colombo and in Jaffna. Further the English Programme and the Tamil Programme with dramas. and oratorical contests as well as intensive practice in spelling, writing and speech have been of great use in the development of language skills.
This year is G-handhi centenary year and in connection with that we have had two important visitors Shri Jayaprakash Narayanan and Srimathi Vijalukshumy Pandit. Both stressed the importance of Service. Shrimathi Vijalukshumy Pandits' visit will always be remembered by our students because of the inauguration of the Sakthi Senai — Groups of senior students in our schools pledged to loyalty, service and upliftment.
Higher education has been the goal of a large number of our students. The Universities have not been able to absorb all those who are fit for it. The Junior Universities, Training Colleges and Technical Schools have absorbed a number of them. Yet there is a lot of frustration, because Higher Education is denied. Therefore the present question of another University, what type it should be and where it should be sited is of vital importance to the people and students of Jaffna, -

The long needed repairs and the long awaited building is now more or less a dream fulfilled.
The main building along Vembadi Road is over a hundred years old and thanks to our Director of Education it is being repaired and rennovated in stages. Soon it will not be an eyesore to the public walking along Vembadi Road. The aew Building consisting of five class rooms and three Laboratories downstairs and an Assembly Hall upstairs is being completed. The class rooms and Laboratories were completed in March 1969. In connection with the opening, we had an Exhibition of work which was opened by the Director of Education Northern Region and the building was opened by the Member of Parliament for Jaffna. During the course of this year we hope to finish the building.

Finally I wish to pay a tribute our staff and our senior students. hough there have been a number changes on the staff, yet we have l worked together whole heartedly r the benefit of the school and e community. With single purpose, ey have worked and have given their best to the school. Displine has been well maintained in ite of the large numbers, for hich the student Council and the oard of Discipline have been sponsible. The student Council pecially has taken up on themlves the task of organising actities and maintaining order. Our rateful thanks to them and to their adership. Our success all round as been because each one has Dne her part, be it large Or Small,

வேம்படி மகளிர் கல்லூரியின் 6 லாற்றிலே தோன்றிய பெண்மணிக பலர். அன்னுரில் எடுத்துக் காட்ட விளங்கியவர்களில் எம் செல்வி ஹெல இராசமணி தொமஸ் தலைசிறந்தவராவ அவரைப் பற்றியும், அவரது சிற சேவையைப் பற்றியும் சில வரிகள் எ தக் கிடைத்தமை எனது அதிட்டமே.
இவர் 1936ம் ஆண்டு தைத்திங்களி வேம்படி மகளிர் கல்லூரியில் சேன யாற்ற நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். வீடு கட் வதற்கு அத்திபாரம் மிகச் சிறந்தத வும், நேராகவும், பெலப்பாகவும் போ வேண்டியது எவ்வளவு அவசியமோ, அே வண்ணம் ஆரம்பக் கல்விக்குப் பெல பான சிறந்த அத்திபாரம் அமைக்க இ ரது இளமையும், இன் சொல்லும், பா ரைப் பயிற்ற ஏற்ற கருவிகளாய் அடை தன. பல வருடங்கள் செல்வி தொம அவர்கள் ஆரம்பக் கல்வியை அழகு கற்பித்தது மட்டுமல்ல, பிற்கால வாழ் கையில் மாணவர் வளம்பெற கூட்டுற6 ஒழுக்கம், அன்பு, இன்சொற் பேசல், சு தம், தொழுகை போன்ற நன்னெறிக லும், இயல், இசை, நாடகம், என்னு கலைகளிலும், மாணவர்களை வளர்த்து வந்தார். ஆசிரியரென்ருல் எல்லோரு ஆசிரியரா? மாணவரின் தன்மைக்கேற் நடக்கும் நுண்ணிய அறிவும், டுரு: பாடும், உடைய இவரைச் சிறந்த ஆ8 யராகவும், தன்னலமற்ற தாயாகவு மதிப்பிடலாம். செல்வி. தொமசுட பாலரைப் பயிற்றுவதற்கு எனக்கு செல்வி சில்வாவுக்கும் நல்ல வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. அவரின் கீழ்க் கடமையா றுவது அளவு கடந்த ஆனந்தமாகும். ட வருடங்கள் சிருரைப் பயிற்றி உலகுக்கு பெருமக்களையும், நன்மக்களையும் தந் பெருமை அவரையே சார்ந்ததாகு அவர் ஆங்கில மொழியைக் கற்பிக்கு முறை தனிச் சிறப்புடையது. பார் திருப்போர்க்கு உவகையும் வியப்புமளி கக் கூடியது.

கல்வித் திட்டத்தில் தமிழுக்கு கூடிய உரிமை கொடுக்கப்படும் திருப்பம் ஏற் பட்டபோது ஆரம்ப வகுப்பை விட்டு கனிஷ்ட, சிரேஸ்ட வகுப்புகளில் அவர் வேலைசெய்ய நேர்ந்தது. கணிதம், ஆங்கி லம் போன்ற விசேட பாடங்களில் ஈடு பட்டார். அந் த ஸ் து, அதிகாரம், பெருமை, புகழ் எனப்படும் மாலைகளைச் சூட எண்ணுமல் பொறு  ைம, நீதி, தாழ்மை, பதில் கருதாமை, தெய்வபயம், சத்தியம்போன்ற நற்குணங்களால் தன்னை அலங்கரித்துக் கொண்டார். அந்தந்த நாள் வேலையை அன்றன்றே செய்து முடிக்க மாணவரைப் பயிற்றும் முறை மெச்சத் தக்கதாய் இருந்தது. உள்ளும், புறம்பும் போ லித் த ன மின் றி உண்மையாய் உழைத்து, உயர்ந்த இவருடைய ஆசிரியத் துவம் ஏட்டுக் கல்வியுடன் நின்றுவிட வில்லை. வாழ்க்கை முழுவதும் சுடர்விட் டொளிரும் தீபங்களாக மாணவர்களை ஆக்கியது. குற்றஞ் செய்தோரைத் தந் திரமாய்த் திருத்துவார். எதைக் கேட்டா லும் தடையின்றி நிறைவேற்றுவார். தம் மைச் சந்திக்க வந்தவரை மனமுவந்து உப சரிப்பார். சந்தோஷத்துக்கு உறைவிட மும், துக்கத்துக்கு ஆறுதலும் கொடுக்கும் தனி மருந்துமானுர், கல்வி கற்பித்தது மட்டுமல்ல பல ஆங்கில நாடகங்களில் மாணவர்கள் நடிக்க நல்ல பயிற்சி கொடுக்கும் ஆற்றலும் அவரிடம் இயல் பாய் அமைந்திருந்தது. அவர் சமூகமளி யாத கல்லூரிப் பணிகள் இல்லையென a) Tith.
சமயத்திற்குரிய விஷயங்களில் அதிக கரிசனை கொண்டவர். ஒவ்வொருவரும் தமது சமயத்தைப் பாதுகாக்கும் பண் புடையவர்களாய் இருக்கவேண்டுமென்று வற்புறுத்துவார். பாடசாலையில் சிரேஷ்ட, கனிஷ்ட இளம் வாலிபப் பெண்கள் சங் கத்தின் தூணுக விளங்கி முழுமனதோடும் உழைத்தார். இச் செய்கையானது யாழ்ப் பாணக் கிளைச் சங்கத்தின் தலைவியாகப் பொறுப்பேற்கப் பயனளித்தது.

கல்லூரியின் பெண்கள் வழிகாட்டிச் சங்கத்தில் கால் நூற்றண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் கடமை யாற்றினர். அவரின் அ ய ர |ா உ  ைழ ப்  ைப யும், முன்னேற்றத்தையும், நுண்ணிய அறிவையுங் கண்டு அவரை மாவட்ட வழிகாட்டி இயக்கத்தின் ஆணை யாளராக நியமித்தனர். அதோடு உள் ளூர் வழிகாட்டி இயக்கத் தலைவியாகவும் தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்டார். ஒவ்வொரு கடமையிலும் திறமையாக உழைத்தமை அ வரி ன் உயர்வுக்கு அடிகோலியது. 1949ல் வேம்படி மகளிர் கல்லூரியின் உப தலைவியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். பொறுப் புகளையேற்று பொறுமையோடு உழைத் தார். கல்லூரித் தலைவி செல்வி தம்பையா வெளி யூர் சென்ற போது தலைவியின் பொறுப்பை ஏற்று மிகச் சாதுரியமாய் நடத்தினர். எவ்வித குறைவுமேற்படா மல் தலைவியின் கடமையைச் செய்தார். உயர்ந்தநிலையிலிருந்து, உயர்ந்தாலென்ன, தாழ்ந்தாலென்ன அவரை எவ்வித சம்ப வமும் தன்னிலையினின்று அசைக்காது.

In the passing away of M Charlotte Kanagammah Hoo Jaffna. has lost a great Tal Scholar, the past pupils of Wemb a very gifted and ideal teac who inculcated in them a burn. desire to discover the hidden ge in Tamil Prose, Poetry and Drar and her friends and relations most sympathetic, sincere, generc and loving person. is the author of several inspiring Tamil Plays which portray the rich and unique heritage and culture of our Tamil people. She was a strict disciplinarian, who believed that the task of a teacher is not merely to teach dull facts, but to train children to look at life fairly and squarely and meet the problems that life presents to them, with wisdom and courage. During the last few years of her life when she experienced a fair share of life's suffering, she remained calm and perfectly reconciled and bowed to the Will of God.
The most precious gift that a teacher could receive from her students is gratitude and that Mrs. C. K. Hoole had in a great measure The only living memorial we could set up for her in our hearts is to delve deeper into
Tamil Language and Literature and discover for ourselves the treasures that would enrich Our minds and delight our hearts.

ஏழை பணக்காரர் என்ற பேதமின்றி லா மாணவிகளையும் சமமாக நடாத் அன்னர் அதே நேரத்தில் கண்டிப் கும், கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்கும் பெயர் போன ாவர். எல்லா மாணவிகளையும் நல்வழி நடாத்துவதையே தன் த லை யா ய மையாகக் கொண்டார். அவருக்கு அஞ் செய்வது தமிழ்த் தாய்க்கே அஞ்சலி ப்வது போ லாகும், வாழ்க அவர் தமிழ் ! ார்க அவர் புகழ்!!

Avenues of employment are open in the newly developing African; countries but what is the fate of those who received their entire education in Sinhalese or Tamil?
The stress on the importance of teaching English is not without commendation. The English unit worked in close connection with the centenary celebrations and their programme is laudable in that they had set specific areas of study, enabling all teachers of English whether quolified or not to set tasks prescribed, before their students and help them to achieve the goal. The introduction of competitions in each activity also helped to cultivate interest among the pupils. During this programme it was clearly evident that spoken English has not been fostered sufficiently; as the main goal wols the G. C. E. (O. L. ) which tested the students on two of the four language skills. This programme however interrupted the set syllabus for the year and teachers struggled to accomplish both especially in the J. S. C. and G. C. C. (O L )

அன்று மாலை-முறைப்படி இரண் உாம் உலகத் தமிழ் ஆராய்ச்சி மகா நாட்டின் திறப்பு விழா. குடியரசுத் தலைவரும், சென்னை முதல் வரும், மற்று ம் அமைச்சர்களும், த மிழ் உணர்ச்சியோடு பேசினர். இ  ைத க் காணவும் கேட்கவும் சென்னே க் கடற் கரை முழுவதும் கங்குகரை காண முடியாத மனித வெள்ளம். உடலால் பலராயினும், தமிழ் ஆர்வம் கொண் டோர் உள்ளத்தால் ஒருவரே என்ற எண்ணம் என் உள்ளத்தில் ஊடுருவிப் பாய்ந்தது. 4-ம் திகதியிலிருந்து 10-ம் திகதி ரை சென்னைப் பல்கலைக்கழக நூற் ண் டு மண்டபத்தில் கருத்தரங்கு ரம்பமாகியது. நாற்பது நாடுகளி நந்து நானுாற்றிற்கு மே ற் பட் ட }க அறிஞர்களும், தமிழ் நாட்டுப் ரறிஞர்களும் பலரும் இம் மகாநாட் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள். தமிழ் வியது, தமிழ் பழையது, த மி ழ் ரியது. இத்தகைய பெருமை மிகு ான்மை நிறை தமிழ் மொழிக்கு ஆராய்ச்சி மகாநாடா? என் நெஞ்சு வத்தியது . இல்லை, இல்லை. மறை க நமக்குள்ளேபழங்கதைகள் பேசு லோர் மகிமையில்லை. திற மா ன மையெனில் வெளிநாட்டார் அதை னக்கம் செய்தல் வேண்டுமல்லவா? துமட்டுமல்ல தொன்று தொட்டுச் கம் அமைத்துத் தமிழ் வளர்ப்பது ழர்களின் தனிச்சொத்தல்லவா? மாம், இம்மகாநாடு,தமிழ் மொழி ஓர் வதேச மொழியாகப் பரிணமித்து ல் கடந்து பலநாடுகளிலும் தன் னத்தை வீசுகின்றதென்பதை அன்று ாக்கு உணர்த்தியது.

தொன்மையும் வளமும் பெற்றது நம் தமிழ் மொழி. அம் மொழிக்குப் புதுவாழ்வும், புதுப் பொ லி வும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறது இத் தனிப்பெரும் விழா, இந்தவிழா தந்த நினைவுகள் என் நெஞ்சில் என்றென்றும் அழியா ஒவியங்களாகப் பதிந்து விட்டன.

My favourite pastime is to watch people. This is quite diffferent from bird watching and is far more inter esting. Bus stands, railways stations and cross-streets are the best places to watch people without being observed. We are able to learn a lot of interesting things about human beings without any difficulty. I would like to relate to you some interesting things I have observed about the people who go up and down Main Street, Jaffna,
Early in the morning the whole town is still except for the cawing of crows. A bus or two rush along the road with hardly a passenger on it. The milk man and a few other pedestrians move busily about the street Gradually it gets brighter. The traffic on the road begins to increase Cars, Lorries and Buses rush madly down the street Officers in their Well starched uniforms and sober faces walk with quick steps to their working places. Now the shops have put up their shutters and the people are busy buying things. The bus stops are crowded with school children, officers aud elderly people all anxiously awaiting the bus.

A little later an interesting ich of people come down the eet. They are the school girls. ey are a perfect treat to the eyes, their clean uniforms and beautihair-dos. Hugging their school bks they chatter a w ay like impanzees. Drowning the merry ices of the girls are the bass ices of the boys. They are on air bicycles trying to follow the ls and attract their attention. me of them do not possess a cycle t this is not going to daunt em. They just get on to another's cle so we find doubles and trebles klessly riding down the street. ley follow the girls till they turn to their school; Then they move
lazily to their schools.
After this there is a little peace some time. Then women with air marketing bags are seen going the market. Some times there } men also who go out to do the mily shopping

Ghandi showed that this moral rule could be applied even to politics as it could be practised in personal and public life. Love is the only remedy for hate Ghandi enunciated this supreme law thus: Hatred ever kills, love never dies. Students could sit there and slip coco-cola. There were easy chairs, for relaxing. There were radios, tape - recorders, record players, amplifiers, ear-phones and refrigerators with iced drinks.
In each block there was C. library with comics and the latest books on all subjects. In addition there were social holls, music rooms, C modern cafetaria, a beauty parlour, a dress designing parlour, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. -
At the centre of the campus was a large open air theatre with modern equipment. There were also comeras for shooting films.

I used to think of him as a prodigiously rich man. All that I knew of him was, that he and my father were school mates years ago at Jaffna, and that he came from Vaddukoddai. In spite of the respect we had for him if ever we made any adverse comments about him my father would immediately defend him and try to give some explanation.
My father and he had played in the same cricket team in school. Sometimes they had Competed with each other to see who scored more runs or took more wickets. He would often say that he was a better player than my father. But my father would say that he was better. Many and hot were the skirmishes they had on this topic - the only one occasion on which the old gentleman would get annoyed. But my father generally contrived to turn the conversation adroitly to something else.
After some time his visits suddenly stopped. We were worried and wondered whether he had taken displeasure over something

Next our Principal led Mr. G. G. Ponnampalam and Mrs. R. S. Parmer to the entrance of the the new building. He lighted an oil lamp and cut the ribbon thus declaring the building open. The long awaited ceremony had been at last performed. Mrs. R. S. Parmer opened the Science section of the building. Both of then were taken round the Exhibition. They seemed to show very great interest in the various, exhibits. Students in charge of each Section explained all about the exhibits. The public also viewed the exhibits. The proceedings came to an end with a donce performed by a few cirls in the Lower School. Thus ended the ceremony which all of us had longed to see.

Siyawa sa is a Sinhala word. It means a century. The Departinent of Education which was established in 1869 completed a hundred years of state education. Celebrations were held all Over the island to commemorate this great event. They were in the form of contests, displays and exhibitions, The most important item was the Siyawasa Exhibition in Colombo. This exhibition was held during the month of August at Royal college and Thurstan College, All the schools in the island took part in the exhibtion and sent valuable exhibits.
The opening ceremony was impressive. There was a march past of all the school bands. The marathon runners brought messages of good will. The SiyaWasa, flag was unfurled.
There were many exhibits in Arts and Crafts and Science. There were Geographical and Historical pietures, models and charts, and also teaching aids. Different government departments had their own exhibits. The agricultural department through charts and

It was on Wednesday, 27th August 1969 that my parent decided to go to Colombo by plane. I was thrilled at this ide: as I had not gone by plant before, I was anxiously waiting for the plane trip.
A day before the intended plane trip we packed our clothe: and made the necessary arrang ments. found it difficult to sleep that night as was thorou ghly excited. At last the day dawned bright and clear. My mother and I got out of bed quite early. After breakfast we got dressed and went to the Air.

My friend had a Vembadi report book. Her marks and grades were not too good but we decided to leave it there to prove that we were from Wembadi.

started with a jerk and we were soon driving through forests. We passed Vavuniya and Anura dhapura and reached Kurunegala, at about l-30 p. m. We saw monkeys on the trees and along the sides of the road. We had our lunch at Kurunegala, and resumed our journey towards Hatton hoping to reach Hatton in about three hours, not knowing What misfortune Was in store for us.
We looked out and saw the Valleys and mountains covered With tea, and rubber plantations. Here and there were a few factories. NOW the weather suddenly changed and warned us of a heavy downpour. At last the expected shower came-unfortu nately for us, but fortunately for the car which had not been Washed for a week or so.
The heavy rain lasted only a few hours and soon it cleared. But there was a thick mist that covered the surrounding area, and prevented us from admiring the natural beauty around us.

Suddenly we felt the car Slipping off the road. There was a jerk the car bounced and tumbled into a valley, I fell dizzy and shut my eyes tight. I did not know what happened next.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself on a spring bed. My parents and brothers were also lying on beds near me. Now I was able to hear my mother say
that God is great, and that He had saved us from severe injury

சிவராஜனை நினைத்ததும் நேற்று நடந்த சம்பவம் அவர் மனக்கண்ணில் தோன்றியது. அவர் மகள் தன் மகன் அரவிந்தனை உயிரிலும் மேலாக விரும்பு கிருளாம். நன்ருக விரும்பட்டுமே என்று எண்ணிய சத்தியமூர்த்தி அரவிந்தனைக் கூப்பிட்டு விசாரித்தார். அவனுே அவ ளைத் தனக்கு சகமாணவி என்ற முறை யில் தெரியுமென்றும், அவளிடம் தனக்கு பிரத்தியேகமான காதல் எதுவும் இல்லை யென்றும் கூறிவிட்டான். இது போதாதா சத்தியமூர்த்திக்கு? உடனே தனக்கு இதில் சம்பந்தம் இல்லையென்று சிவராஜனிடம் கூறிவிட்டார். சிவராஜன் கெஞ்சினர் இவர் மிஞ்சினர். சத்திய மூர்த்தியிடம் பழிவாங்கும் உணர்ச்சி ஒரளவிற்கு இருக் கத்தான் செய்தது

முன்பு மனிதன் சிரமப்பட்டு உழுது, விதைத்து, நீரிறைத்து, அறு வ  ைட செய்து வந்தான். பயிர்களுக்கு நோய் ஏற்பட்டால் அது தன் துரதிஷ்டம் என்று இருந்துவிட்டான். ஆனல் இப் பொழுது கழனிகளில் உழுதல், விதைத் தல், நீரிறைத்தல், அறுவடை செய்தல் என்பன இயந்திரங்களினுல் செய்யப்படு கின்றன. பயிர்களுக்கு நோய் ஏற்படு முன்னரே பல மருந்துகளை உபயோகிக் கின்றனர். பல இரசாயன உரங்களும் உபயோகிக்கின்றனர். இவை, விஞ்ஞா னம் விவசாயத்திற்குச் செய்துள்ள சில நன்மைகளாகும்.
முன்பு, பல நாட்கள் செலவு செய்து மனிதன் நாள் முழுவதும் உழைத்தும் ஒரு வேலையைச் செய்வதற் குப் பல நாட்கள் சென்றன. ஆனல் நீராவிச் சக்தி, எரி பொருட் சக்தி என்பன கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டபின் குறைந்த செலவில் கூடிய உற்பத்தி கிடைத்தது. அதனல் தொழிற் புரட்சியும் ஏற்பட் டது 6

வழக்கம்போல் இவ்வருடமும் எமது கேதீஸ்வர யாத்திரை அமைந்தது. சிவராத்தி இந்த யாத்திரையில் பெருந்தொகையான மா
இவ்வருடம் எமது சங்கம் தோத்திர வெளியிட்டது. மாணவிகளுக்கு ஏற்ற தேவா பயக்கும் ஒர் படைப்பு என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை. டம் வெகு சிறப்பாக எமது சங்கத்தினுல் கெ னங்கள், வில்லுப்பாட்டு இன்னிசை விருந்து விழாவில் இடம்பெற்றன. சிறப்பாக நடித்த பட்டன. விஜயதசமியன்று மாணவிகள் விசே கொண்டனர்.
