முன்னுரை
எல்லா உயிர்களதும் சுவர்க்கமாகும் பூமி
மூன்றாவது கண் ஆங்கில மன்றமும், மூன்றாவது கண் உள்ளூர் அறிவு திறன் செயற்பாட்டுக் குழுவும் இரு வேறு தளங்களில் முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்ற பல்வேறு செயற்பாடுகளில் நாடக அரங்கச் செயற்பாடும் ஒன்றாகும்.
மூன்றாவது கண் ஆங்கில மன்றம் சமகாலத்திற்குப் பொருந்தும் வகையில் ஆங்கிலத்தில் தொல்சீர் நாடகங்களையும், நவீன நாடகங்களையும் மேடையேற்றி வருகின்றது. இதில் தமிழில் இருந்து நாடகங்களை ஆங்கிலத்திற்கு மொழி பெயர்த்தும், தழுவியும் மேடையேற்றி வருவதும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இந்த வகையில் அமையும் நாடக எழுத்துருதான் திரு. தெ. கிருபாகரனால் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்ட “THE ASHEN TOUCH”
நாடகமாகும்.
மனித முயற்சியின் கனியையும், அக்கனியை நச்சுக்கனியாக்கும் மனித இயல்பையும், அணு ஆற்றலுடன் தொடர்பு படுத்திச் சித்தரிக்கும் இந் நாடகம் இந்தப் பூமியில் வாழச் சந்தர்ப்பம் கிடைத்த மனிதர்கள், மனிதர்களது மட்டமல்லாது, எல்லா உயிர்களதும் சுடலையாக பூமியை
ஆக்காது, சுவர்க்கமாக்கும் வாழ்தலுக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றது.
இந்த எண்ண ஓட்டத்தை ஆங்கிலம் வழி பூமியில் படரச் செய்வதில் கிருபாகரனதும் கலைத்துவ மொழியாக்கச் செயல் அற்புதமானது, மதிப்பிற்குரியது.

இயக்குனர் குறிப்பு
20ம் நூற்றாண்டின் இறுதி இரு தசாப்தங்களிலும் குண்டு வீச்சுகளுள்ளும் வெடிகுண்டுகளுடனும் வாழ நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப் பட்டவர்கள் நாங்கள். எங்கும் எப்பொழுதும், ஏதோ ஒரு கணத்தில் விபத்தாக அல்லது யுத்தத்தில் உலகின் முடிவை ராட்சதக் குடைக்காளான்கள் போலெழும் புகைகளால், எழுதிவிடக் கூடிய அணுகுண்டு பற்றி பேச விளைகின்றோம்.
உலகின் தலைவிதியைத் தீர்மானிக்கும் உரிமையை மனிதனின் அதிகார வேட்கை அபகரித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. உலகம் மனிதனுக்காக படைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என்ற சிந்தனை அபத்தமானது. உலகம் அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்கும் உரிய அழகிய இல்லம். இந்த அழகிய பூமியை பல தடவைகள் சாம்பலாக்கிவிடக் கூடிய அளவு அணுகுண்டுகளை வல்லரசுகள் பூமியின் மடியில் திணித்துவிட்டு மக்களின் பாதுகாவலர்களாக முகங்காட்டி நிற்கின்றன.
20ம் நுாற்றாண்டின் இறுதியில் ஈழத்தின் தலைவாசல் வரைக்கும் வந்து, உபகண்டங்களிலும் அணுகுண்டுகள் தயார் நிலையில்.
அனைத்து உயிர்களது வாழ்வையும் அபகரித்து விடுவதில் கொள்ளப்படும் முனைப்புக்கள் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வு அவற்றை எதிர்கொள்வதில் ஆரம்பமாகின்றன. நவீன பஸ்மாசுரன் நாடகம் அதனைச்செய்கின்றது. அனைத்து மக்களுடனும் எத்தகைய ஆற்றுகை வெளிகளிலும் உரையாடல்களை நிகழ்த்தும் வகையில் பாரம்பரிய அரங்க அம்சங்கள் ஊடாக தொடர்பு கொள்ள முனைகிறது நவீன பஸ்மாசுரன்.

நான்காவது ஆற்றுகை வடக்கு கிழக்கு மாகாணசபை இலக்கிய விழா 2000த்திற்காக 18.11.2000 அன்று திருகோணமலை புனித மரியாள் கல்லுாரியில் மேடையேற்றப்பட்டது.
ஐந்தாவது ஆற்றுகை கொழும்பு லயனல் வென்ட் அரங்கில் மூன்றாவது கண் உள்ளுள் அறிவு திறன் செயற்பாட்டுக் குழுவினால் 2003.11.22 அன்று இரு மொழி ஆற்றுகையாக அளிக்க செய்யப்பட்டது.
