Peace Confidence IndexJaffna Survey
The need to extend the PCI to the Jaffna peninsula has been felt right from the inception of the survey. The present truce between the Government and the LTTE has opened the door for SI to conduct Opinion Surveys to ascertain public perceptions on the peace process in selected areas of the Jaffna peninsula. Since July 2002, a separate yet complementary survey has been carried out to fill the dearth of information regarding opinions in Jaffna on the peace process.
