Sasha Ekanayake, (co-ordinator,Media Uni participated in the 11th International PRA\PLA Praxis Workshop, Hyderabad, India from the 11th -22nd,Sept. This training on participatory monitoring and evaluation techniques is expected to help develop CPA’s internal capacity to monitor and evaluate current projects and to mainstream M&E techniques into all project planning and implementation, across all Units, in the future.

Mirak Raheem and Bhavani Fonseka( Senior Researcher, Legal and Constitutional Unit) attended a Forum on Disaster and Security, Chennai, organized by WISCOMP, Sept 15th -16th . They presented a joint paper and made presentations on Conflict Resolution and Disasters and Diplomacy and Disasters. The conference attendees were mainly individuals working on humanitarian issues from Kashmir, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka.
