There is a saying that "A man with no knowledge of English is half baked" We get to know so many things in this modern, dynamic world through the International English Language. Hence, it is our bounden duty to make way for the children the future
Aeneration, to attain proficiency in the language in every aspect.
I am very glad to say that "The English Literature Day" is being celebrated for the first time in the history of the school during my tenure as Principal.
Associations of this Category help to bring out the latent talents of the scholars to the limelidht and ultimately mould them to be balanced citizens in every aspect of life.
At this juncture, this Association is Publishing a 'Souvenir' of which I am, very Proud and Happy.
Finally, I congratulate and thank the "Patron' who is the prop of this Association, the other member teachers, the President, the Secretary, the Treasurer and the rest who shouldered every responsibility as their own to bring this 'Souvenir' to form.

I am Happy to aive this message to the School Literery Association Souvenir the staff I have inevitab as a long standing member of been asociated with every step taken by the school during the last two decades. 貂懿
I have taken special note of the growing interest of th children in the field of English education confined basically to the classrooms in the seventies and eighties a new awareness in much in eridence in the nineties bacause of the everwidening horizons and the possibilities of reaching them through the mass communication media. The realisation that this reach is made easy in variahl through the knowledge of Ehglish is both timely and commendable. I am happy that our students are equal to the challenge.
The teachers concerned must be lauded for encouraging the children to undrtake and helping them to successfully complete this venture. While hoping such ventures will continue in the future too. I think it is fitting to end this message with a few : 'ords from Alexander Pope.
"A Little knowlege is a dangerous thing Drink deep or taste not the pierian spring Their shallow droughts intoxicate the brain And drinking largely sobers us again.
"The heights by greatmen reached and kept Were not attained by sudden flight But they, while their companions slept Were toiling upward in the night.

In 1905 Albert Einstein the famous scientist, worked out a mathematical formula for the conversion of matter into energy. According to this formala if one gram of matter is converted into formula energy, it would produce 90,000 billion foules of energy. The atom bomb is the product of this great formula.
The first atombomb oft
vaporized and a huge
atom bomb, uranium 235 or plutonii, sed. Tivo pieces of these metals are put in a metal case separately when some body intends to explode an atom bomb, these two pieces are bought in contact by a scientific method. The neutron coming with the cosmic rays initiate the fussion which results in an uncontrolled chain reaction, This produces a huge amount of eneray. This is what is known as the explosion ofan atom bomb.

WHAT Is DIAMOND J
O
Diamond is the most precious substance in the world. It is the hardest material known so far. It cannot be cut by any metal, or for that metal by anything. Diamond can be cut only by a diamond. Metal say impregnated with diamond powder is used for cutting the diamonds.
Diamond which is the pure crystalline form of carbon is obtained from mines at 900c, it starts burning slowly and combines with atmospheric oxygen to form carbon clioxede. At 1000C, it gets converted in to graphite. At higher temperatures the rate of information of araphite is faster.
It is a good conductor of heat but a had conductor of electricity. Its thermal conductivity is five times greater than that of copper. Until 1955, diamond was obtained only from mines but latter certain synthetic methods for its manufacturer vere also aleveloped. Diamond obtained fronu mines is called natural alliamond, where as the one made by synthetic methods is called artificial diamond. Afica is the biggest source of natural diamonds. About 95% of these come from this continent Before they come to the market for sale they are cut into different shapes and polished. The shine of diamonds is not spoiled even after hundreds of years.
Synthetic diamonds were made for the first time in the world by the general electric Co. of USA in 1956. In the synthetic process diamonds are produced from graphite. In high temperature furnaces graphite is converted into diamond. Synthetic diamond resembles the natural diamond in many respects. These are Aenerally used in jewellery and industry.

One man's meat they say is another man's poison. what is regarded as important by one man may not be regarded in the same way by another. However three things I value very much in life are health, a good reputation and money of his life.
A man may be well educated and learned or a man may be very rich, or he may belong to a very aristocratic family-or he may be very clever and skilful but if his character is not good he will not be respected or loved by others. A good reputation is not something that comes to us casily. We have to build it up' and once it is built up we must see that we don't mar our good reputation. Most important of all things is a good reputation,
Health is also important to every one of us. to study well, to take part in sports, to go through the rough and tumble, of life, even to serve our country and for so many other purposes a man needs good health. Without good health a person will not be able to develop his talents, Even a rich man will not be able to cnjoy his wealth unless he is in good health. A person who does not enjoy good health will have to find an easy job and such jobs are not easy to find. Even if a man obtains a job he will not be able to work for a long time unless he is blessed with good health.
Life has always been beset with difficulties but today it is best with even more trials and to get oway from all these difficulties a person should possess the gift of aood health.
Money too is something important, Today we all know that there is hardly anything we can do without money.
Everything is up in prize and so we need more and more money to meet our day to day needs. But though money is important, we must be careful about the way we get the money. This is very important. Equally important is the way we use the money, knowing the value and importance of money, we must not waste it. We must try to make the best use of it.

health. Without good health a person will not be able to develop his talents, Even a rich man will not be able to cnjoy his pealth unless he is in good health. A person who does not enjoy good health will have to find an easy job and such jobs are not easy to find. Even if a man obtains a job he will not be able to work for a long time unless he is blessed with good health.
Life has always been beset with difficulties but today it is best with even more trials and to get ovay from all these difficulties a person should possess the aifi of dood health.
Money too is something important, Today we all know that there is hardly anything we can do without money.
Everything is up in prize and so we need more and more money to meet our day to day needs. But though money is important, we must he careful about the way we get the money. This is very important. Equally important is the way we use the money, knowing the value and importance of money, we must not waste it. We must try to make the best use of it.

༄། ANALOGUE COMPUTERS
These work by changing one quantity into another. A clock is a simple example. It changes time into movement. The clock tells you how much time has passed by showing you a corresponding amount of movement by the clock's hands. A thermometer tells you the temperature by showing you the height of mercury in a tube. Large analogue computers are often designed for research or for use in industry.
